I figure it's time that I renew my Iranian passport and go see my 92 year old grandmother, whom I haven't seen in over 10 years. There's no way she can travel anymore and I figure there will never be a perfect time to go there, given the political situation.
Is anyone planning on going next summer or within the year? It's not a trip I would like to make alone.

if you go to Lonelyplanet.com and post about your trip you may get a companion . Spreading the word and the net definitely works.
